Shoulder Pain

The shoulder is an important joint used in all activities of daily living. The shoulder’s main function is to get your hand into position so you can do tasks such as typing, reaching for a shelf over the head, brushing your teeth, shampooing your hair etc. Shoulder pain most often comes from tears of the rotator cuff tendon, inflammation of the rotator cuff tendon and arthritis of the shoulder joint. A lot of shoulder conditions can be treated successfully without underdoing surgery.
